Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 cup full-fat unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 2โ3 tablespoons powdered keto-friendly sweetener, such as erythritol or monk-fruit blend
Instructions
1. Prepare the Strawberries
Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green tops.
Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
Set a few pieces aside for decoration if you like.
2. Make the Strawberry Mixture
Place most of the strawberries in a bowl.
Mash them gently with a fork until they become juicy and slightly chunky.
You don’t need to make them completely smooth.
3. Add the Yogurt
Add the Greek yogurt to the mashed strawberries.
Stir gently until the yogurt and strawberries are well combined.
4. Sweeten
Add the powdered sweetener.
Mix well and taste.
Add a little more sweetener if desired.
5. Chill
Divide the strawberry mixture between two small serving glasses or bowls.
Refrigerate for 30โ60 minutes.
Chilling allows the dessert to become thicker and gives the strawberry flavor more time to develop.
6. Serve
Top with the reserved strawberry pieces.
Serve cold and enjoy immediately.
Optional Texture Variation
For a thicker dessert, refrigerate it for several hours.
For a mousse-like texture, whisk the yogurt thoroughly before combining it with the strawberries.
Helpful Tips
- Use ripe strawberries for the best natural flavor.
- Powdered sweetener dissolves more easily than granulated sweetener.
- Choose unsweetened Greek yogurt.
- Keep the dessert refrigerated until serving.
- For a stricter keto diet, check the carbohydrate content of your specific yogurt and sweetener.
